Sometimes a task title isn't enough. The Task Details drawer gives every task a home for the extra stuff (notes, subtasks, priority, status, and labels) without cluttering your list. ## How does it work? Hover over a task and click the **Details** button to open the drawer. Details button revealed when hovering over a task ## What's inside? * The task title and its badges (Later, Break, Repeat) * **Timer**: edit the task's minutes directly * **Spent**: how much time you've focused on it so far * [Priority](/guides/priority), [Status](/guides/status), and [Labels](/guides/labels) * [Subtasks](/guides/subtasks) * **Description**: a free-form space for details, context, and notes The description holds up to 1000 characters and saves automatically as you type. Description field with automatic saving and a character counter Completed tasks are locked. Redo a task from the [List](/guides/list) if you need to edit it again.
