Subtasks section inside the task details view

What is this?

Big tasks are where ADHD brains go to stall. β€œWrite the report” feels impossible. β€œOutline three sections” doesn’t. Subtasks let you split a task into small, doable steps, right inside the task itself.

How does it work?

Open a task’s details and type in the Add a subtask field. Each task can hold up to 5 subtasks. Back in your list, tap the chevron on the task to expand its subtasks inline. You can complete, reorder, edit, and delete them right there.

Subtasks and timers

Give your subtasks timers and the parent task’s timer becomes the sum of them, marked as derived.

The parent’s status rolls up too: when every subtask is done, the parent is done.
Creating subtasks needs Forget Pro. Subtasks are one level deep, so a subtask can’t have subtasks of its own.
